E-Statements

No longer will you have to worry about fraud or identity theft from lost or stolen statements sent through the mail when you choose to secure your bank statements with E-Statements!

E-Statements are a NO COST electronic version of your First Southern bank statement.  In addition, tax documents, HELOC statements, and CD notices may be made available online. 

E-Statement Benefits

  • Presented in a secure environment and captures information in a file you can view, print or download at your convenience.
  • View your bank statements and other documents online and even assign nicknames to your accounts.
  • E-Statements also arrive faster than snail mail, use less paper and reduces clutter.

How to enroll in E-Statements

  • New online banking users:   Enroll in online banking.
  • Existing online banking users:  Log in to your online banking.
  • Within the online banking platform,
    • Click the "Enroll Now" button within the banner to start the e-Statement enrollment process.
    • If you're already enrolled or missed the "Enroll Now" button, click on the "Documents" button to get started with e-Statement enrollment.
    • Read the e-Statement Disclosure and Agreement and click "Accept" or "Enroll" to agree to the terms.
    • Choose which account to enroll in e-Statements by selecting the checkbox.
    • If one of your accounts isn’t listed, please call your local branch for assistance.
    • Once you have selected all the accounts that you wish to enroll in e-Statements, select "Enroll" or click "Save".
    • On a confirmation screen, click "OK" for the account settings to be updated.
    • At any time you may select "Refresh" to clear all and start over.
    • The "Documents" screen will display. Since you are new to enrollment, the documents will be available the next statement cycle.
    • Click on the "Dashboard" option on the left side of the screen to return to the home page.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your enrollment in e-Statements is complete.   If an email is not received, please notify your local branch.

How to view Documents

  • When your documents are available for viewing, you will receive an email. 
  • There are two ways to view your documents
    • Click the "Documents" button on the Dashboard to see both statements and documents for all accounts.
    • Click on the account to see the statements and documents associated with that account.
  • Your most recent document will be at the top.  You may use the filter icon to sort by type, year or selected accounts.

How to download Documents

  • Click the download arrow to download the pdf.
  • Open the downloaded file to view, save, or print the document as needed.

How to make changes to statement delivery method

  • To change an enrolled account or turn an account document on/off.
  • Sign in to online banking.
    • Click the Document button from the Dashboard.
    • Click Sign Up/Changes.
    • Click which account(s) to enroll or unenroll.
    • Select the checkbox to enroll or unenroll.
    • Select the arrow beside the account for the drop down of documents available on that account.
    • Click Save Settings.
    • Scroll to the bottom of the screen to view and acknowledge the Agreements.
    • Select from the following options:
      • "I Agree" – to complete your enrollment.
      • "I DO NOT Agree" – to cancel your enrollment.
      • "Print" – if they wish to print the agreement.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to your email of record.
